For 23 years prior to establishing SHSS, was employed within Numico Infant Nutrition Group Ltd, a hygienic, high quality and high-tech infant food manufacturing company in various managerial positions of Engineering and Maintenance Management, Project Management and Health and Safety Management. A Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner and Member of The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, a Fellow of The Royal Society of Health with a qualification of Diploma in Safety, Health and Welfare at Work from University College Dublin, gained in 1995. Had been a Member of the Institution of Electronics and Electrical Incorporate Engineers in 1972 and registered as an Engineering Technician with the Engineering Council in 1993. Prior to joining industry in Ireland, gained 12 years’ experience in preventative and corrective maintenance in aircraft navigational electronics and aircraft safety systems.

Joining the company in 2005 with a background of sales and training, graduated with a Higher Diploma in Safety, Health and Welfare at Work from University College Cork (UCC) in 2008, Diploma in Adult Training from University College Galway (NUI Galway) in 2010, FETAC Level 6 Manual Handling Instruction in 2011, Certificate of Competence in Workplace Nosie Risk Assessment in 2018 and a Certificate of Achievement in ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems) in 2018.
